Thank you for choosing Declutter With Carly to help bring organization back to your home. Before we work together, it is important to review the following terms, as it is helpful when both parties are clear on expectations. We value you and your growth in the process. Your confidentiality and trust are of the utmost importance. Listed below are our terms of service that define our process and service.

Confidentiality

The personal information of and in possession of the Client will be treated confidentially and with respect at all times. During the course of our service we may come across items of a private or personal nature. It is our policy and is strictly enforced that no personal or private information is ever shared with anyone else. This includes name, address, and phone number.

Payment Terms

The payment due date will be listed on the invoice, which is typically issued 1-2 days after the completion of the project. In the case of multiple sessions, payment is due weekly for the work performed that week. Payment can be made via cash, Venmo, or PayPal.

The agreed rate is $_____ per hour. This rate expires at the time regular scheduled appointments cease.

 

There is no charge for the time spent planning, shopping, or making returns. A $100 deposit is due at time of booking. This will be used towards your total payment. If services are cancelled, the deposit will be returned to you within 3 business days of cancellation.

The Client will reimburse product at cost, no additional charges are added. If you do not like the product that has been used, please let the Organizer know before they end the day. Once the Organizer has left the Client's home, the product is owned by the Client and will be invoiced as such.

If payment is not made within 30 days, we reserve all rights to seek compensation due in court or may turn delinquencies to collection agencies as we see fit.

Process Ownership

Regarding the editing, sorting, and organizing of items, the Client maintains process ownership. Declutter With Carly recognizes items as the sole property of the Client, and though efforts will be made to help reduce the volume of belongings when necessary, it is hereby stated that the final decision on such matters belongs to the Client.

Project Outcomes

​Project outcomes depend on the Client’s willingness to participate in the process: sorting, editing, and donating when necessary. Maintenance of organization relies on the Client’s commitment to maintaining the space.​

Donations/Trash

While we cannot haul donations or trash away for the Client, we are happy to help the Client load up a vehicle, or place the donations/trash wherever is best for the Client.

​Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24-hours notice of cancellation. Any appointments cancelled within fewer than 24-hours prior to appointment time will incur a cancellation fee of $50. No show appointments will incur a fee of $100, regardless of the number of hours scheduled. Hands-on organizing sessions begin at the scheduled time, regardless if the Client is delayed. We understand that emergencies happen and will allow each client one grace pass per calendar year to reschedule without penalty. There is no grace pass for no-show appointments. If late cancellations become routine, Declutter With Carly reserves the right to expect payment in advance for entire session or refuse future services.

Disruption of Services

Declutter With Carly reserves the right to terminate this agreement for the following reasons: repeated cancellations or rescheduling, non-payment, unsafe or unsanitary working conditions.

Liability

Declutter With Carly is not liable for any loss due to damage to property, self, or disposition of items. The Client retains full responsibility, unless gross negligence or intentional damage has been proven.

Time of Project

We do our best to complete the work in a timely manner, however, all parties agree that time may go longer or shorter than planned. We take into consideration the Client’s emotional, physical, and mental needs and will adjust our speed of work for the best interest of the Client.​

Photo Release

The Client releases all rights to before and after photos, to be used by Declutter With Carly for marketing purposes, including but not limited to website, social media, educational presentations, and pamphlets. Client identity and confidentiality will always be top priority in regards to photo usage.

I have read, understand, and fully agree to the above terms and understand and agree that the services are being performed in accordance with the above items. By scheduling organizing services, I am agreeing to these terms.
